I vote CCr with completed code and the awesome CGC enhancements !

Smooth LED Lighting, Sweet LCD, shaker, cool topper, spinning revolvers ...... PDI glass, epic blades, etc. what a winner !!!

CCC is a great player and Super fun even with bland incandescents ! With the CGC enhancements will push CC to all time greatness !

Easy perhaps ? no licence problems ?

Hopefully by the time CGC makes CCr our crap AU$ will improve.

Nice work with MBr CGC, so happy you are staying in The Game.

Quoted from luvthatapex2:

Nope they can't use CCC it's not compatible. Either CG will have to modify the code themselves or leave it alone and release the code the way it is.

The original code the way it is would be a fail for the game.
If CGC truly want to move forward with CCr ....continued code is a must.

It has to be CCCr

I have been imagining how awesome CGC's enhancements would be on this.

As per this video the only thing lacking is dots and lighting.

With CGC skill and quality CCC would be next level.

CGC LED lighting and a rad topper would be so cool, and no need to have physical spinning revolvers, some clever lighting could bring the apron pistols to life.

The cap it off the enhanced display and shaker would rock.

Cowboys and Aliens at 6m is my favorite mode, and Drunk multiball at 7m is cool too.

CGC , I hope you gonna go for it and get the Continued Code, perhaps even build on it a little if required ?

Best seller for CGC with modern tech...........Bring it on !

Quoted from Bublehead:

If I was running CGC, which of course I am not, I would go for the biggest cash grab out there to ensure I have enough capital to keep doing what they are doing which seems to be working for them. I never thought in a million years I would own a MB, yet I have a MBrLE on order, and being built by a proven company. What would a TAFrLE or TOMrLE, or a TZrLE from CGC be like? My money is on TAFr and TOMr and not CCr or BBBr, because the amount of engineering and the BOM for TAF or TOM is closer to AFM, MM, and MB than TZ or BBB. They already know how to port WPC based code to their platform, so I expect the next machine to be another WPC based game. Least expense and best ROI. After enough pinheads play AFMrLE, MBrLE, they will say “and I can get a tricked out, NIB TAFrLE for $8k? And it is enhanced and even better than the original?, and they re-did all the dotwork?!?, well sign me up.” The speculation on CCr is way off. Yeah, it was rare, yeah, it was the last real B/W WPC title, and yeah they only made a dribble of them. The code was incomplete, the game play boring, the rules were unfinished... yet people are clamoring for this title? Get over it, it sucked and it was a harsh reminder of what Williams/Bally management thought of pinball. A disposable money making tool, not pop iconic art. If CGC is reading this, I’m a +1 on TAFrLE. Now where is my Monster Bash?!?

Lol
What a load of twaffle.
Not a personal attack but man that really is a load of shit.

As mentioned previously CCr will only be worth re making if CGC can implement Continued code.
If CGC is not able to expand the code to CONTINUED then CCr will be a waste of effort.

If CCCr is not achievable... BBBr is a waayyy better choice next up over TAFr. I don't get the love for TAF ? it gets boring.

I doubt TOM and TZ would sell big numbers. TOM is just not that good. TZ has never been mentioned by CGC and probably would not be viable with its huge BoM.

IJr would be the only other possibe blockbuster but IJr is sounding like a pipe dream

#140 5 years ago

Haha, Bindi would drive us nuts

Crocodile hunter would have been awesome.

Wish it was completed.

CGC would do well on this if completed to a high standard.

I like the look of the cab, game could have been amazing. probably too much work and licencing problems to complete this one.

Steve's kids have grown up fast, their over enthusiasm for wildlife makes Aussies look like nutters, lol

What the Irwin family is doing to protect wildlife is commendable, Perhaps Robert and Bindi are into pinball ?

If the family would give the okay for the project to be completed with Steve's name, audio and images the game would work.

Oh oh............... Steve was molested by an orangutan, lol orangutan gate

Top bloke, we miss you Steve !

So Planetary and CGC may step out with something new and original.

Well that would be very cool.

The skill and experience is within the company/s. I am looking forward to next as always.

Keep on raising the bar CGC you are doing very nice.

Quoted from rubberducks:

CC I'd expect them to completely re-do the cabinet and translite package, add a lot of code, completely new animations & sound, and improve the toys. I.E. way more work than their previous titles. BBBr will be more work still (save art package).

I dig the original art on CC.
Will be interesting to maybe ? see the Franchi touch on CCr. Im guessing CCr will pop, art , display and topper will be awesome .
My only reservation is code.
Hoping CGC can add code that rivals Continued
Very much looking forward to this one

Quoted from John_I:

After CC they should move to some simpler and cheaper games. I'd go with Fathom, Centaur and Eight Ball Deluxe to start with. One level games with simple numeric display. If they can sell a base MB for $6000, they should be able to sell me a new Fathom for $4000 or $4500. I would be on that like white on rice considering the prices of any old Fathom these days.

Oh yeah, Any of those 3 gem titles would be sensational and correctly priced would sell like hotcakes !

My belief is CC will happen, The title is well worthy of a re-make albeit slightly weak code. I am fortunate to have played both CC and Continued and appreciated/preferred the extra depth and humor of Continued.
It's a shame CGC were apparently unable to negotiate inclusion of Continued code ? , I think that would make insta buy for me. Playing a 2020 build factory pimped out CC with upgraded display, magic LED light show and extra code would absolutely be a winner. So my stance on CC is to stay on sidelines until there is confirmation of further code from dev team.

Now next remake after CC my bets are on ToTAN my girl would love that title and probably force me to by it no matter what, Lol. I don't mind the game but..............

I have a feeling that the unlicensed/licensed ? ( wish I knew ) ? game CGC is working on will blow us all away ! I'm stoked Franchi is on art as I really like the style passion in his work. Can't wait to see CGC's Original effort.

Quoted from BallPin:

Cactus Canyon is not the next CGC title

So CGC's first original theme is up before CC ?

I was guessing Franchi was re-working CC art , perhaps CF is on the new original title as well.

Either way I like what CGC does and look forward to any new release from them.

I believe it is CC and its gonna have some awesome enhancements.
Can't wait to see what they do for the topper.
The XL DMD is gonna be killer on this one !

Quoted from John_I:

What the heck it PTC?

Same here. No brainer. No way I would ever have that game in my house again. Was the shortest lived WPC game ever in my collection.

ToM didn't last too long for me either. I had a beautiful example with some amazing extra's.
Just no staying power unfortunately

#1499 2 years ago

CCr and BBBr FTW as far as re-makes are concerned.

Original IJ would sell very well, Sad that is unlikely to happen. Hopefully I'm wrong. I do regret selling my one.

I'm pretty excited for CGC's original title, even though I have no idea what it is ?

CCr is gonna blow us all away.
Super long time in the making, attention to detail has to be next level !
My expectations are Very High !

Freddy's pinball paradise is amazing !

I had fun playing the beautiful example of CC there.

I recommend the trip to anyone, would be worth it, even if not to buy, just for the amazing experience.
The town of Echzell is beautiful the beer is great ! , food is tasty and the people are super nice.

A nice collection of LE's available for sale, Mmm, I would love to return to Germany on a buying spree when I win lotto

I hope to see Stan art for CGC BBB

The work that Stan did for Capcom was excellent.

I really dig what Franchi does, his art is truly amazing.

If CGC is able to realize true Capcom Pinball days, I hope the true art remains.

I guess where the fine line will be is an incredible challenge for Franchi.

The original art for both BBB "Stan Fukuoka" and CC "John Youssi" is very cool.

I would not want to be franchi in this situation if art has to be updated.
If so its a big call mr CF.

Us Pinheadz believe in you man !

CCr
It is........
and it will be mine

#1805 2 years ago

Most important will be code completion/refinement

I'm a little disappointed Eric's CCC code didn't make it, such stellar job, super fun additions

Shaker, no brainer, will have to be coded awesome

LED active revolvers on the apron dreaming, lol

Otherwise the 6-7" LCD on apron could be a nice touch

A big winner will be XL color display

High end audio would be sweet

Im still wondering about the art ? I dig the original but not sure if it's gonna get a Franchi twist ?

Can't wait for this one

Im getting more pumped every day about CCr and excited to see what level that CGC can bring the game to.
I was looking through photos and had a concern about one on my favorite details of the game and I sincerely hope the pistols remain,
I hope that there is no anti gun rubbish going to affect making this classic true to original.
I wish CGC well and can only imagine how many hoops that they must jump through to make these classic titles.
Footnote,
is Matt Coriale still in the scene ?
He sure was involved with design in some real gems .

CGC know what they are doing.
Im stoked they don't rush the works of art.
Very cool of CGC to do their best to get these games out perfect and next level in more ways than 1.

BBBr will be my 2nd CGC title after CCr

Quoted from DBP99:

If there are two machines being presented for release (one remake and one CGC new) who would be the lead designer for the new one?

Rumoured to be Mark Ritchie

Quoted from Bublehead:

Code was its downfall. Mech wise the train was useless, and why does a Western theme have a opening plunge into a mini spinout/whirlpool? The longer you play it the more tired you get of hearing two callout phrases... here's your bounty and Gold..........Mine..........Multiball!!!

Hey Buble
Im still struggling to understand your dislike for such a great title ?
Would updated code/callouts-modes make a difference to your sentiment ?

#2223 2 years ago

I do not see any compatibility between 1999 hardware and 2021 hardware, I highly doubt any new code or software enhancements can or will be pushed into an original.
That is why CCC users require an additional pc.

Hmmmm……Never opened the back box of my remakes!

Well, that is a good thing then
Must be a reliable system

I have not owned a CGC as yet , am assuming the brains and drive hardware will remain p3roc ?
Maybe CGC want to go there own way as Spooky did ?
With Mr Heck on board, I guess it could be a thing

Wow, 3 years on and CCr made it
Nice work by CGC to go next level on this title and achieving some well deserved hype.

Sucks that release was tarnished by toppergate, but hey, many pinball people are down for some drama now and then.

I am very much looking forward to my first CGC with a CCr

Ok so CGC # 5
What do you crazy pinheads out there think ?

The rumour mill is awash with Pulp Fiction

A Tarantino pin would be awesome

Just speculation here.
Mark Ritchie design
Chris Franci art
??? code , not sure how busy Lyman and Josh are?
Pulp Fiction with Lyman code, mmm

Title 5 available by mid next year ?

PTC or EFL ! One or the other. Don't need both.
LTG : )

I am unable to decode EFL still LTG
Any more clues please ?

#2376 2 years ago
Quoted from Hoteldrummer:

I'm guessing Big Bang Bar is next

BBB with CGC enhancements including code by Lyman would be awesome.
Throw in a crazy interactive topper and wow, instant sell out !

BBB trumps Totan and ToM

#2380 2 years ago

Ah, thanks, I didn't know..
I thought op would rename 5
Well I guess this thread is done then .
I'll hop on over to the new thread.
I haven't looked as yet, mmm I wonder if everyone is playing nice

Thanks again CGC
You guys rock

#2388 2 years ago
Quoted from Ty-Arnold:

Is Pulp Fiction a real possibility? I know it was a rumor, but is there any real info that it is going to happen?

Certainly just a rumour for now.
Follow the CGC #5 thread, perhaps dreams can become reality
