Quoted from marc_b:CGC should just pony up and reach an agreement with the Continued software. IMHO- it's THAT important to the success of the game if they plan a CCr. Oh well.
This in my opinion would guarantee huge sales.

Quoted from PtownPin:I don't think they need to anything (just like the other remakes)...IJRLE with LED's, color, large display, brass trim and killer topper would sell like hot cakes. IJ is the one game that meets the same criteria of the other remakes....Highly ranked game, market demand, market pricing....try to find a great example of an IJ with a color dmd....their $9K+
Highly agree!!
Quoted from Bublehead:I don't have a horse in this race. But I can guarantee the sales of CCr will be less than any of the first 3 remakes. There is just not that big a demand for a half baked WPC title. You don't see people on here clamoring for CCr as much as you see people scratching their heads why CGC doesn't build more MMr. It will have to be one huge fucking rewrite of the CC code before I would even possibly ponder ever owning a CC in a HUO collection. And even then, I would probably buy a MMr or AFMr used if I want another CGC machine in my collection.
CCr will sell like hot cakes. People have been asking for ages and demand on the originals has always been huge. Rick originally said somewhere if they did CCr it would have code tweaks where possible(Eric was approached but from what I read a deal couldn’t be made but that says they were certainly interested in what was done with CCC code).
I think your “l guarantee the sales will be less” is way off. I know here in Australia there are many collectors with all 3 remakes and will buy the next no matter what it is. They are that impressed with build quality. I also know quite a few in US waiting on the CCr announcement and then CGC delivering not long after that. They will sell their 1000 LE’s easy. Just my opinion based on what collectors are saying. I’ve owned all 3 and think they are bloody fantastic. AFMrLE being the favourite. The topper puts it over MM for me.
Quoted from jawjaw:If these remakes were selling like hot cakes, I would expect CGC to be still making them. If CGC knows what they are doing then they stopped selling remakes for a reason. I suspect sales were not as strong as they were expecting and plans have changed. Whatever the sales were of MMr, AFMr, and MBr you would expect CCr to be less. I like CC but it's just not on the same level of those other games in terms of gameplay and popularity. I was really hoping to see more remakes but not holding my breath. Maybe they are working on an original title which might explain the long delay. Still, I would expect some rumors or tease if that was the case.
Are you for real. These games sold out and they did reruns and sold out and did more reruns and sold out and did Royale edition because demand was so great from collectors wanting the bells and whistles that they did on AFMrLE and MBRLE. It will sell and sell fast.
Quoted from Nepi23:If Kaneda's post is true, they really need to make the topper available for OG CC owners as well!
If K’s post is true he needs his arse kicked again for leaking shit he’s not supposed to. Some people never learn.
