You got to think about where the money is going to come from. How much can they get away with charging for a code update? How many people would actually buy it? How much work will it take them to offer that? On top of that, offering a ROM would likely take away from new machine sales. Doesn't seem like a money-making proposition, if I were them I'd probably stick to my core business and sell new machines. They'll make more money and keep their line running, selling some ROMs won't pay the bills. Maybe if you want guys want to pay $1,000 or more for the code update, otherwise I can't see it making any sense for them.
