Quoted from LTG:Since there was talk of an original title at one time. I hope they do their own game next. Then back to the remakes.

Hope for several original titles in a row

Quoted from snakesnsparklers:It's T2. The licensing costs are low and they hardly made any of them so buyers are all chomping at the bit for one.

Quoted from Bublehead:For what its worth, I think an independent, un-licensed theme from the B/W lineup of the past that deserves a sequel, which could be very lucrative if they do a good job of incorporating original assets into a sequel title and retain the “fun factor” that draws people back to these titles of the past. We have seen 2.0 versions of existing tables, Bride 2.0, and the CCC enhancements, the non-code CGC enhancements on their remakes, and I ask you, as a CGC owner myself, would you be intereseted in AFM III- The Third Wave from CGC? Or MMII, or even Monster Bash- The Farewell Tour... and they totally change up the main toys but keep the themes? Yep, sign me up. They could make sequels of older titles and I would not just nibble, I would be taking huge mouth-sized chunks, I would be eating this up with a fork, knife, and a spoon. But lest we not forget, the recent BKSoR release from Stern tried to capitalize on this very same thing, and although I enjoy flipping the new table, when I am done, I feel I would have had just as much fun playing either of the two orginal titles, which doesnt say alot about SoR, at least beyond the twinge of nostalgia I get from playing it. With software updates it might get better, game wise, because it flipped nice, and some of the shots are exactly the same as the old tables. Just my $0.02
Black Pyramid II there's your Indy Pin.
Quoted from Concretehardt:I heard Punchy is coming after BBBr
And Mario Mushroom World.
Quoted from CLEllison:I own TAF and FH. Obviously only time will truly answer my question but If CGC remade these and I sold my originals to obtain them and in 15 years when I retire and sold the pins would the CGC models be:
Worth less than original
Worth the same as original
Worth more than the original
Group thoughts please and thank you.
Originals by far have the upper hand.
Quoted from zaki:Maybe they should remake doodle bug
We need to see a return of that captive ball feature!!
Quoted from LTG:Not Me. I do tech support for them. And I'm convinced it's PTC !
LTG : )
I have one and it would be great to see any upgrades!
Quoted from LTG:Punchy The Clown. Alvin G. 103 units. - CGC remake - Priceless.
LTG : )
Let's vote Punchy in.
They should do cc, theatre of magic, then tales of the arabian knights. There are enough ij and taf still around.
Quoted from Edster:But there are not enough updated versions out there with lighting, toppers, shakers and large color displays.
I'd be all over an updated IJ or TAF. I can only imagine how cool they would be.
I understand. Wide screen would be nice. Maybe in due time.
Quoted from mizzou:Just curious, why wouldn't they do a TZ?
Williams had to grab 3 licenses for this game. Theme, Rods image, and music
I don't think they would sell a game for $4000. Despite having all the r&d done , then implementing the new software , boards etc. Unless they follow Stern with their home versions?
Hopefully Cactus Canyon, then Tales of the Arabian Nights. Then this "rumored" collaboration with Ben Heck....
Quoted from LuxZ:Does anyone know what has been running on their manufacturing lines in the meantime? Surely they can't afford to keep their factories idle. MB has been out of stock for the most part at european distributors.
I imagine the multigames still have orders flowing in.
Quoted from zaki:Yup. Heard it for three years . I'd say Chicago gaming is about done.
They make other products, not just pinball remakes.
Quoted from LTG:I believe your heard PTC.
LTG : )
When PTC gets announced, there will pandemonium....
Quoted from Concretehardt:Let’s not get to carried away here, lots that I love about the remakes, but my buddies HEP restored original MM seemed and played “truly superior” to my MMr “in every way” to me.
I've heard many people state that the originals play much better. I tend to agree with this.
Not quite three years, as Monster Bash remake was November 2018. Although it does seem like a lot longer. I think we will be pleasantly surprised...
Quoted from RooDoom:Any intel on when CC will be available?
I believe 4 to 6 weeks. Waiting more licensor approval.
Quoted from chad:I believe 4 to 6 weeks. Waiting more licensor approval.
Post 68 in the Southern Fried show thread.
He just said availability is subject to licensor approval and is expected within 4-6 weeks. They have games on the line right now and over 850 playfields finished
Quoted from zr11990:If you had the choice would you take a original or a remake? How much are the originals worth. I havnt played min in years, I need o get it back in the house and clean it up and play the shit out of it.
I'm not a fan of the under playfield super sized circuit boards. I like the originals and do understand that certain items on boards may not be available. CGC main cpu board not too much you can fix on your own....
Quoted from Only_Pinball:My crystal ball says TOM next followed by Pulp Fiction.
Then Ben Hecks game...
