Quoted from surfnrg:BBB just isn't that fun... Take away the rare factor and nobody would want it...
I would want it!
Quoted from NC_Pin:I think you can work backward into finding the likely releases by eliminating choices.
TZ and IJ - both are widebodies and have major licensing issues. Both machines are pretty complex too (although TZ takes the cake).
TAF - I think the licensing issue is a problem here too. I believe it was Planetary Pinball who said that some remakes won't happen because companies want to focus on the newest version of their IP and not interested in reissuing prior versions (this could be true for IJ too).
STTNG - Widebody.... license...and is there really any interest?
Shadow/Congo/BSD/WW/FishTales/WorldCup Soccer/ NGG/ JD and other titles down the Top 100 list - I doubt most of these would support the NIB price. Maybe The Shadow, but it is licensed, relatively complex, and has a secondary price below Stern pros.
So that leaves
TOTAN
TOM
Scared Stiff (although I suspect they would have licenses issues here too)
CV
WH20
CFTBL
FH
CC
From that list... I would think they would just base it on the secondary market price. Since price is the best indicator of demand.
Don’t forget BBB
Quoted from surfnrg:I think remakes are done. Stern has finally started making games worth owning and jjp games are epic. I'd be willing to bet that no more remakes are in the future.
I will take that bet! How about loser donates $100 to Pinside?
Quoted from PPS:PPS has the original source code and has compiled the original source code ... how would you be in a position to state what we do or not not have?
ugh
Hi Rick,
Since your here can you confirm the title of the next game and when it will be announced? Also could you get with CGC and hash out a plan to make BBBr the next remake.
Thanks a lot!
Come on CGC give us a game... something, anything!... 4 F@ck’n legs and a box.... I want a F’n game right F’n now!
Quoted from daveddd14:Do you think they will make/sell anymore MMr (Royal Edition)? I would like to find one preferable NIB at the MSRP.
From memory I don’t think they said they were capping the number of MMr Royal editions.
Quoted from LTG:I would never blast you for your opinion.
The original plan was for 10 different remakes then reduced to six. I would imagine this is games they thought they could do, and sell.
So we have three to go, if they make more remakes.
They went to the work assembling a line to build pinball machines. Have trained people to do it. Got everything in cue to do it. So no reason to stop there. Dennis Nordman will finish his work for them. It was also posted on Pinside about the Ben Heck/Spooky game. And they have made other moves for a brilliant future. Butch Peel for their manuals for one thing.
So as much as we'd like to see more remakes. I believe their future definitely lies with exciting new games never seen or imagined before.
LTG : )
Hmmm 6
MM AFM MB CC &...
my guess—->TOM & TOTAN or TOM & BBB
Edit for LTG: or TOM & PTC
Quoted from RA77:CC and BBB FTW as far as re-makes are concerned.
Original IJ would sell very well, Sad that is unlikely to happen. Hopefully I'm wrong. I do regret selling my one.
[quoted image]
I'm pretty excited for CGC's original title, even though I have no idea what it is ?
Yea no way IJ will ever be remade.
Quoted from KozMckPinball:Just hoping IJ IPA gets remade.
No way IJ will be remade.
Quoted from LTG:Not my place. Might be covered by an NDA.
When it goes public. People will go Holy Fuck !
LTG : )
Disclaimer : This my well be the first time I know something. Usually I'm the last to know.
Edit: LTG can you PM me the info.. I won’t tell anyone
Quoted from LTG:Please allow me.
BANG
LTG : )
So it’s BBBr??
Sorry LTG we are getting desperate for clues in here!
Quoted from Daditude:I agree. The new versions are truly superior in every way.
Let’s not get to carried away here, lots that I love about the remakes, but my buddies HEP restored original MM seemed and played “truly superior” to my MMr “in every way” to me. The biggest thing is that the flippers never felt right on my Mmr, Afmr or Mbr, my hope is that CGC can correct this in the next title.
Quoted from PtownPin:I had a restored MM and a MMRLE sitting right next to one another for about a year....I really couldn't tell the difference...nor could the dozens of people who played the game
OT: this will be last post on the subject here as I know this is not the appropriate thread for this discussion... As for the remake flippers i agree with Crazy Levi (see link below) the stroke of the flipper on the remake is different/shorter and it makes the game play differently... if your interested see explanation (which I agree with) in first post here...
Now back to remake discussions.. bring on BBBr
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/it-s-time-to-talk-about-cgc-remake-flippers-
My friend called CGC and actually got Doug on the phone last week, he was very tight lipped.. he just said they are working hard and something would be coming soon.
Quoted from whthrs166:Sounds like you might be surprised with whatever that something is...
If it’s BBBr I’m screwed because it would be an insta buy! but I would have to sell something to be able to buy it.. difficult choices would have to be made!
Quoted from Indusguys:Why would CGC remake a game like TAF that 20000 people already own? All the other remakes production numbers are between 3000 and 4000.
Because nearly every TAF you see for sale is either been routed very heavily or is very expensive sometimes both. Try finding one of those 20,000 TAF that is in good to excellent condition at a decent price!
Quoted from acedanger:Spoke with Tech last month & he stated that they're releasing two titles this October. I don't see why he would lie... he wouldn't tell me obviously NDA
This would be mind blowing!
Quoted from LTG:No. We'll see EFL first.

Disclaimer : Nice GIF !
Maybe Elves with attitudes?

Strange how they did nothing with the code on MB, adding a decent skill shot seems like it would’ve been an easy add to the code.
Quoted from LTG:Unless you aren't allowed to mess with the code on MB.
LTG : )
Good point I was just reading Ricks post above, I don’t know the difference between having access to source code and having permission to alter the code is.

This would be really cool!
Quoted from LTG:A lot.
Something is.
Tomorrow the CGC seminar at SFGE may fill in at least what has been going on.
LTG : )
What time is the seminar LTG?
