Yes, partly true. The first trigger was Visual Pinball. Then I found TPA (The Pinball Arcade) and really was into the graphics but not so much the gameplay (fysics are always off in a simulation). To get the real experience I bought an IJ on Ebay and then it took off.
I still like TPA very much for the great instructions every table has. The instructions clearly explain all the goals and how to achieve them. That way I fot much better at STTNG and TZ for instance. Also for practice some strategy its very nice, as the shots are somewhat easier to make than on the real machine.
