Quoted from Jazman:

BBB is not a Bally/Williams title so that isn't even in the discussion...Jaz

Yes it is .

Bally/Williams bought the rights to BBB and did, in fact, produce a single machine.

Quoted from beatmaster:

who owns the right for BBB/capcom?

Gene at Illinois Pinball.

Quoted from Eryeal:

Surprising result - didn't think there would be as many folks for CC without the possibility to convert to CCC.

There is always the possibility of converting it to CCC.

Although many people use the P-roc to convert DMD Williams games, you can use it and their driver boards and convert a Disco Fever if you wanted to.

Once we see the MMr diver board in person (or if the schematics are posted by PPS sooner) we will know if the Proc can interface, or if a different driver board is needed,

Quoted from beatmaster:

so does that mean that pps can't do it?

Sure they can.

Just like PPS is buying a license from Williams to make the MMr, they would buy a license from Gene to make the BBBr.

Gene loves BBB and made as many as he had CPU boards for.

Now that single board computers have powerful processors that have no problem emulating those ancient ASIC chips of yesteryear, the Capcom ASIC is no longer a problem.

AND since Gene already ran BBB a few years ago, he has the molds and artwork ready to go.

A lot more MM owners than BBB owners to be mad, plus most BBB owners I know "only" paid $4500 for it NIB.

Quoted from Darth_Chris:

Maybe but you are going to make a lot less people angry. Not many BBB out there.

But these few will channel anger like none ever seen before.

That is how life goes.

Were they angry like never before when their house value went from $900,000 to $500,000 overnight?

Quoted from Astropin:

For the second time.....can someone explain the love for BBB to me?

1. Not a fan layout game.

2. Not a Superhero game.

3. Not a movie license game.

The above points alone might make it the best pinball of all time; but then there's :

1. One of the best pinball artwork of all time.

2. UV lighting

3. Some of the best DMD animations of all time, REALLY well done.

4. It's funny without being "gay".

5. Strongest flippers of all time.

6. LOTS of different shots. Some very creative.

7. It is one of the few pins aimed at adult players (other than porn titles that you might be embarrassed to have children see in your collection)

8. Such a great theme that Williams actually bought the rights to re-make it themselves.

9. Great adrenalin pumping space soundtrack.

10. Great voice acting.

11. Tube Dancer

Capcom made a few BBB games and Illinois Pinball already made a re-run of it.
There's no point in yet another re-run.
