Quoted from RobT:And you own BBB.
I'd be interested in Kingpin. I already have a silkscreened (empty) cabinet for it I bought from an ex-Capcom employee at Expo years ago. (They made 10 prototype games but 11 cabinets.) Gene Cunningham tried a few years ago but couldn't get enough pre-orders at around $8K each to justify making it (he used up all the leftover Capcom boards he had on the BBB run). But now that $8K is an accepted price for WoZ and MMR, I think Gene should try again to see if he can get enough pre-orders for Kingpin.
Quoted from Skypilot:Still holding out for Popeye.
Too much to ask for. Popeye will be $10K by Christmas.
Quoted from mechslave:I think BBB is a cool pin, unique, and beautiful. But also that it's always been a bit overrated because of its rarity. For $8k would I buy a remake? Maybe. I'd be more interested in other machines first though.
Capcom made a few BBB games and Illinois Pinball already made a re-run of it.
There's no point in yet another re-run.
Quoted from Plungemaster:BBB is a beautifull pin. But just boring gameplay.
Yeah, just keep telling yourself that.
