Quoted from kvan99:

I tell you what..I just bought MMR so that's 8K but if they remake CC with a finished code, I will drop another 8K and sleep in my car.

With the remakes features less boards and wires you could probably just curl up inside one of your new pins.

BBB is a beautifull pin. Sadly there ends the good stuff.

Just boring gameplay.

Quoted from mechslave:

I think BBB is a cool pin, unique, and beautiful. But also that it's always been a bit overrated because of its rarity. For $8k would I buy a remake? Maybe. I'd be more interested in other machines first though.

Capcom made a few BBB games and Illinois Pinball already made a re-run of it.
There's no point in yet another re-run.

Yeah, just keep telling yourself that.

For the rest of us there sure is.

JFC, could you be any more self serving? I'VE GOT MINE SO F___ ALL Y'ALL.

Here's how you know if there's a point or not: do people want to buy it? If yes, there's a point. If not, welp, guess not.

As if i am the only one who thinks so.

There's not?

Are you sure about that?

Something smells fishy, but I can't quite place my finger on it...

Lol!!! By fishy you mean a BBB owner talking about why it should not be remade.

The market shall decide

Sh*t, I'm down for a "BBBLE" with a shaker, invisiglass and purple trim for $10k.

#111 5 years ago

Ive played MM and MB. Like MM castle theme (ordered an LE), love MB monster theme (waiting now for rerun). Never played a CC. How does it compare to these? Are there any to play on location in Mn or WI. Thxs.

#112 5 years ago

AFM will be the next game, cheapest BOM of the three.
It would be nice to get some replacement jiggly Martians that actually jiggle for my game.

I vote for Adams Family. I guess I always just thought Morticia was hot!

Could come play it at my house

Thxs Ep!

Quite the drive though, unless you have some other reason to be down Milwaukee way.

Ya think?

#119 5 years ago

I don't think there is any chance in hell of a MB being remade due to the licensing fees required to Universal. Simply not feasible.

Bring on the CC remakes. There are less than 1000 people out there enjoying them! It's a no-brainer.

#120 5 years ago

Everyone keeps saying this. Tell me, how much is the Universal license since you're so sure?

#121 5 years ago

I agree Aurich, I keep hearing this as well, maybe someone has some inside scoop on universals licensing fees or I missed the monsters latest world tour.

#122 5 years ago

Hmmm...BBB is indeed a beautiful game but I side with plungemaster the game play is not all that exciting.

#123 5 years ago

Cactus Canyon. Rare Pin. Most folks have played the crap out of the other 2...

How much? No idea. More than CC, BBB or AFM, how's that?

Okay, so what? MB sells for more than AFM, BBB will potentially need license fees also, it's not necessarily "free" so you can drop that one for these purposes, and CC only sells the way it does because it's so rare and CCC, which may or may not come to a remake. Two reason that make CC less than a slam dunk.

The Universal license wasn't a roadblock for Farside to bring to Pinball Arcade.

The Universal license wasn't a roadblock to making MB in the first place, when it sold for a hell of a lot less than MMR.

Am I saying it will happen? No f---ing clue, I have zero knowledge. But to rule it out seems very premature.

Looks like voting on this one has slowed down. As of today, we have Attack from mars with 77 votes, Monster Bask with 111 votes and Cactus Canyon with 106 votes. I'm going to go ahead and create a new poll and include Big Bang Bar.

New Poll for AFM, MB, CC or BBB:

I've been playing BBB at Lloyd's on my way home from work this week. From game play so far, this is most devinately a game I would have at home if PPS ever decided to build them. I like others would like to see this one made before other games.

Quoted from Astropin:

I must be missing something. Other than be being freakishly rare....what's so great about BBB? I've played it....I'm not seeing it. Wouldn't be a top 25 game to me.
Next up MB - Great looking game and that's pretty much where it ends for me.

My thoughts exactly... Know someone with BBB...I don't get it.... He has MB.... That I get....I'm for sure in for MB at 7000...... However....It seems that that the longer I have to wait the more rational my thoughts become..
