Yes I have looked at that one they also have a 18 lb one too I am thinking the 5 lb can't really put too many in there but the 18 lb should be better right ?or is there a bigger one out there ?
Thanks for all the help
Bump anyone out there owns a Eastwood 18lb metal polishing tumbler ,please let me know what you think of it .

Looks very nice ,anyone here have the one from Eastwood 18lb I would like too know how that one works ?
Thanks everyone
Quoted from d0n:Just
I would but I am from Canada and its coming from the US so it's not so easy too return it that's why I am trying too find someone that has one that can tell me
Quoted from dmacy:Also as a heads up to the Canadians coming for Pinfest: Eastwood is in Pottstown, Pa not too far from Allentown. If I wasn't out of town that week I'd be happy to pick one up. I'm sure some here would be willing to do that if you wanted.
Very nice thanks

The Dillon 2001 is probably the best bang for you buck..its huge!
Big enough to put a wpc ball trought in it. I think it's about $50 more than the big HF tumble. It's bucket isn't tapered like the HF tumbler...So you can get the big stuff in there
I have no problem tumbling all the hardware form a standard tear down at one time...efficiently.

I've got that same Dillon. Big enough to throw in most parts.
Cool what do you think of your tumbler ?
Thanks
Thanks everyone for the great input I got one for the 25% off ,what's the best media for shining pinball metal parts under the PF ?
Thanks
Quoted from Gatecrasher:25% off today at Harbor Freight. I'm going down later. I'll be getting another 25 lb. box of walnut shell media for $18.71 (regularly $24.95).
I think I'm going to try the 24 grit as vid suggested.
If you ever wanted to buy a vibratory polisher it would be a good day to also with the 25% discount.
Yes I just called today and they are saying the 25% is not for Canadian buyers but I also called Sat and the guy I was talking too put it though so I guess we will see if it does or not ,today I was going too add more things too my order but if it does work I will have forget about it all
When I called she told me the discount is not for Canadians thats nt right ,and Sat. When I called too order he put it though so we will have too see what happens
Quoted from Gatecrasher:Well I finally got around to trying out the resin pyramids in my vibratory polisher today. I put a disassembled Mikuni motorcycle carburetor in it today. They did a great job on it. I tried using the walnut shells with these carburetors before and they would polish it too much. Almost to a chrome-lie finish plus the shells would get trapped in the small orifices of the carb. A real PITA to remove afterwards.
The resin pyramids clean the corrosion off but leave the nice natural finish. Plus there is no debris in the small orifices to pick out afterwards.
Next I'll have to try it on some pinball parts.
Thanks go to vid for the tip!
Great news ,I got my new HFT 18lb tumbler ,now I am going too pick up some walnut shells and corn cob media and I ordered Flitz polish ,they say its cuts time in half I will have too see.
Please let us all know if it works on your pinball parts
Quoted from Gatecrasher:A little dab will do ya. You don't need to put a whole lot in.
Ok thanks so much
Anyone has ideas for media for thumbing pinball metal parts ? So far I have used walnut shells and corncob any other?
Thanks guys
