Does anyone polish the sling leaf switches - mine are very tarnished. I’m guessing it’s a tumbler job. Anyone try this? Seems like a shame to ignore as I’m doing a very detailed shop job on my TZ...
More often than not, I usually find they're mangled by use and attempts at adjustments over the years, so I tend to replace them if they're not easily servicable.
Yes I like to have all my switches nice and cleaned.
I like to use Noxon Metal Polish and use a Q Tip and globe it on and let it work on the curd.
Than you can use Supper clean , or some water with a nylon brush to clean it off than put some noxon on the Q tip and rub the blades to clean more.
Than I use a Dremell with a wire wheel to go over the contacts and polish the blades. than re adjust the blades with needle nose pliers.
A little work but look like new.
