Ok...just finished clearing two play fields. One is on front end to now be repainted. Other is ready to sand and polish. So what is the polish of choice for this purpose (following the last run of 1000 grit sanding).

    Thanks

I wet sand with 600, then 800, 1200, 1500, 2000 then began buffing with medium cut buffing compound, then to an auto swirl remover, then novus 2.

I wasn't able to find anything finer than 600 grit at a Lowe's... Where can those finer grits be obtained?

You need to go to an automotive parts type store that sells auto body repair equipment to find the wet papers. They also sell all the compounds. Maybe NAPA or similar places in the US, we have Lordco in Canada.
