Police Force resurrected
Purchased in the summer of 2019 at an estate sale
Dragged it up these PITA stairs (Thanks Geoff and Kristen!)
I calculated from condition and when the house was built that it was re-furbished by R@B and sold to the home owner around 2000
Initial inspection showed full mylar playfield, Boards all good, missing top speaker enclosure, bottom 16 digit display gassed out. Drilled out coin door and backbox key was inside.
Normal wear at ball drops, ramp entrances, non-mylar area around pop bumpers, dried up car belt and slings

Posts replaced, new ball guides at the top, new flipper linkages, flipper bats, new sleeves, balls, Pinball Life PerfectPlay Silicone Translucent rings, cleaned, waxed and replaced broken Cartel plastic, car belt, ramp switch and shorted target
Used Gorilla brand clear duct tape to re-enforce ramp entrances, exits, non-mylar area by pop bumpers and ball drops. Used Cliffy protectors for the ramps
Off boarded the controller board for the car motor and bought a spare motor with circuit board ( thanks Woody76)
Replaced the Police Force display from my wife’s restored Taxi and upgraded the Taxi with an Xpin display
Comet fluted warm white for playfield GI, fluted cool white for backglass, 1SMD non-ghosting cool white clear for inserts and incandescent flashers.
I also get air balls off the center ramp, may fabricate a piece of plastic to extend the ramp cover further down.
If anyone has a speaker topper, let me know

Well I finally found a speaker cover for the topper of my Police Force after almost 3 years.
See post #401.
1. Reinforced the inside of the cover with fiberglass, very thin plastic!
2. Mounted 5 inch speaker on pipe straps
3. Mounted the speaker to the cabinet top
4. Secured speaker cover with soft washers

Sounds Great!
