Might want to contact Cliffy on that gate and see if he has ever made any of those.

Welcome! Check out the Pinside Map and visit some of the locations around middle Tennessee. I'm pulling mine off route soon to shop out.
Actually I have the same issue on the Addams Family thing optos every couple of months or so. It's just dust, cleaning fixes it right up. It's on location and gets a lot of play.
Quoted from emkay:If I had some spinners made, how many of y'all would be interested? No idea on the cost, might could get some made on the sly though.
Definitely interested in one!
Quoted from emkay:If I had some spinners made, how many of y'all would be interested? No idea on the cost, might could get some made on the sly though.
Do you know if these could include the metal shafts? Or is there any easy way to attach these to the shafts?
Quoted from garretswinning:I can agree with that
Supposed to get a main interconnect board, new rubbers, and decal for firing range in mail tomorrow. Hope everything goes good
Did you get your decals from Marco? I think they're the only supplier that has them.
I'm looking for the center ramp, anyone have a new or used one in good condition they want to sell? Starship Fantasy does not sell the center ramp alone.
Also does anyone have the right angle bent jail plastic for the back of the playfield?
I emailed Larry and he confirmed he doesn't sell them separate. Anyone needing just the outer ramp willing to buy a set and I can buy the center one from you at cost (50%)?
Quoted from KLF:Hey guys, I have had some setbacks but am getting back to it. Shortly after starting production we had some very heavy rains here in central Illinois. The large hill behind my shop slid significantly and we wound up with about 2" of mud and silt on the shop floor. No equipment was damaged but it was a huge mess. It took several weeks to clean up and now all the work that pays the bills is past due. We are getting caught up and hope to be back on the spinners in a week or 2. Sorry for the delay. We will persevere!
Just checking in, hope you got your shop sorted out finally.
Quoted from KLF:I apologize for not having the spinners done yet. I have had some more issues in the shop as well as the new house. I will get them done. Hopefully by Christmas but cannot promise. Thank you for reaching out and thank you for your patients.

No problem.
Looks great! I got one of his ramps too. The only thing I’m worried about is getting the decal alignment right.
Does anyone have a used police car they would like to sell? Mine is utter crap and I know they are available for around $80, but willing to look at used ones in decent shape.
I’m going to try Titan’s fluted 2 SMD LEDs in the GI. I have it in from route for a shop job for the first time in 7 years. I really like the look of incandescents in this game so hopefully these LEDs will allow me to get that similar look with a wide light spread. Looking for Nifty LED's effect used in Medieval Madness and Attack from Mars Remake, those LEDs are amazing.

No, those prices are pretty unrealistic. Especially for a System 11. I found a new ramp set for around $250. I think a new CPR playfield is available for the standard $1000.
I’m very impressed with Titan’s fluted LEDs. They look amazing in this game compared to the dimmer LEDs used in the top half of the playfield. I am working my way up from the bottom.

Quoted from emkay:What I was told when I got mine was that Williams for whatever reason changed the cabinet during production, removing some of the guns to make it a bit more family friendly. Mine is the later dumbed-down one.
No idea on decal vs painted.
Something else I noticed, in one of the manual diagrams the jail plastic is on the right side instead of the left. Which is interesting, since Python’s Batman concept drawing shows the lock on the left, which is what I would assume would be the bat cave.
Quoted from Jeffreyjonesbsme:I may be buying a Police Force that is rough.
And may part it out.
PM me with what you need.
If I get enough interest... I'll pick it up.
I need some System 11 parts only.
PM sent.
My understanding is Larry's Williams molds come as a set, and because of the amount of plastic that would be wasted just doing the center ramp he does not offer them through Starship Fantasy. Well, he might, but when I asked I was quoted a steep price that was not far off from the price for both.
I would ensure you have Cliffy's protectors installed and make sure there is a good fit with no open gaps for a ball to wedge between at the entrances.
Only Starship Fantasy reproduces them because they have the Williams molds. I’m wondering if they got them from Illinois Pinball when they closed. Because of this, they only sell them as a set.

I replaced the single SMD bulbs in the topper with these new 2 SMD Titan fluted dome ones. Makes a big difference!

When I saw them used on Medieval Madness and Attack from Mars, I decided to use them in our games. They were originally made by Nifty with a proprietary base.
I replaced all single LED bullet style bulbs from Titan with these faceted ones. The difference is AMAZING!

That's the original 1989 speaker grill. The game has been routed most of its life so I guess I'm just lucky. I've never heard of a stencil being made.
Quoted from Crash:Gee, I think it’s time for some new ramps...
Finally got the new ramps decaled and assembled!
So far I have the large one installed. The fit on this one was perfect but I'm going to need to shave down some plastic on the center ramp entrance before I can drop it in. I did have to drill one hole on the big ramp for the protector.
Quoted from desertT1:I designed a spinner replacement with some changes and a little extra reinforcement. I have 5 of them for now and have made a shop listing for it. These are not limited to cause a panic buy situation. I want feedback from the first 5 buyers on things I might not have already done to make the best part possible. The buyers of these 5 spinners will get whatever future final version for the price of shipping when that day comes.
This is my first shop listing so wanted to make sure it's set up correctly. It is set up for US only, shipping is included. At least it should be. If you are out of the US reach out to me and we can figure out shipping.

section1-panel-mob (resized).pngGot the other ramp in. Honestly that's the first time I've ever seen the inserts under that ramp! The original ramp has been busted for decades, even when I first played this particular machine as a kid.
For anyone buying Starship Fantasy ramps, you may need to dremel off a bit of plastic from the center ramp entrance to get it to fit behind the 2 posts.
DSC_0103 (resized).JPGDSC_0105 (resized).JPGOk. Can you tell me if any of those 4 flashers are dim during a flasher test? I checked the voltage at the sockets which is correct (28v I believe is what I measured). I also swapped the bulbs around with the same result.
They run in the coil test one at a time and that's how I noticed the issue on my game. I may have a bad resistor or two going open, will check those on the interconnect board.
I think I found the problem. I came across this thread which mentions certain games have different interconnect boards with various resistor values:
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/dim-flashers-pool-sharks-system-11
The board in my game is a D-12313-2011. It's supposed to be a D-12313-573. The 2011 variant came from Elvira. Don't know why it was swapped into this game, probably as a quick fix for burned up GI headers at the time. Unfortunately due to said GI problems my board is hacked terribly with spliced wires soldered directly to the board with copious amounts of hot glue.
At this point I'd rather not spend 3 hours undoing the hacks, redoing the headers and connectors, and swapping the board with the correct one (if I can even find it in one of the other games). I reseated the flash lamp connector and it seems a bit better. I'm officially calling it "not an issue."
I'm other news, I printed some car decals and laminated them. Then used quick dry glue to apply the front decal and translucent laminate for the rest of the windows. Also sharpied the chipped paint areas.

Is yours registering always closed in switch levels test? Mine has started doing the same thing, but it was working before I took everything apart. It registers open when I unplug the opto board.
Quoted from Meri-cah:Thanks. Fixing the plastic that goes right there below it. Any way you could snap a pic of yours so I can see how the clip wraps around? I can fabricate something pretty easily I’m sure
Here's my replacement spinner. Fits like a glove.
DSC_0137 (resized).JPGDSC_0138 (resized).JPGQuoted from emkay:That looks really good! How's it spin?
Mine is fine but a guy in our league has a PF that desperately needs a spinner.
It spins great. Show him this, I would grab it if I were him until desertT1 makes more.

Does anyone have a spare hot sheet gate for the top of the playfield? I have one but it's missing the wireform. Or is it possible to make the wireform?
Edit: Nevermind, found it on Marco.
I had to replace an opto transmitter/receiver pair on Police Force. I've tried installing two TCST1103s which does not work. The opto always registers closed. Can someone confirm this is the correct part for the spinner board and it's installed correctly? All traces have continuity and I'm getting 4.75v and 12.11v on opposite sides of the optos.
DSC_0191 (resized).JPGDSC_0192 (resized).JPGDSC_0193 (resized).JPGI never have. Never tried it, but I still have my old broken ramps. I think I'll try it and get back with you.
Our game at the bar is a pretty big hit, people posting high scores on Facebook. It's cool to see that kind of interest in the System 11 stuff. But I think a good part of that is everyone coming back from the virus lockdown.
