I'm in the process of buying all the parts needed to fabricate the MODs. The ACDC code is pretty much done. I just have to clean some minor stuff up and then it will be off to the next title, don't ask - because I'm not sure yet 
The MODs will be available for sale directly though my website. So, I need to get my store page updated as well. Too much to do and never enough time.

What will be ready in early Spring, ACDC ColorDMD?
After seeing the pictures in the Avengers SmartDMD thread I am curious to see which product is going to look better in an actual game. Before seeing the pictures I would have thought ColorDMD would be the clear winner, but now I am not so sure. The smoothed color of the the Avengers SmartDMD look very impressive. I actually prefer the non-dot look over dots. It seems pinball is always around 20 years behind the times with technology.

Yeah that's what I'm holding out for....the smoothed dot look. I hope it's the Star Trek or Met.

Now that competition appears to be "coming soon", it may be in your interest to announce which games will be colorized ahead of time to subdue some of the buying of the alternative product.

About time to shake up this colorized DMD market. Those ColorDMD boys aren't the only option in town anymore, and their product is about $100 overpriced

That is what I am talking about. 
Great to see this evolution of pinball games taking off like a rocket. Stern really missed the boat not offering this as a add-on for older games. It would have been much easier for them to do since they have the source material.

Both are powered the same way (at J11), so you'd need at alternate power source for the SmartDMD. Don't worry, this is also in the works as well as a new audio system MOD we're developing.

I want to know this as well. Not sure I would give up Shoot to Thrill and Dirty Deeds for color pictures.
But if it does not matter then this is a no brainier.

Dynamic text would behave the same if you had edited it or not. whatever it is that smartdmd does with it.
