I upgraded my Lower Cabinet base speaker to a larger Flipper Fidelity speaker that is positioned higher than the original factory speaker; it sits on a mounting blockphoto (14).JPG. The top of the magnet of the speaker is 4.5" above the floor of the cabinet including the mounting block. Would this create an interference problem with the underside of the TV? See picture.
Thanks for info on compatibility with FF speaker in Cab. My game is good candidate for this because the hologram in my game, while still green, is becoming progressively more blurred and distorted because the hologram is delaminating from the backing plate.
I installed my V2.0 CFTBL Hologram MoD yesterday. Everything went smooth and it looks really nice. the instructional videos and install instruction manual are very well done. The kit itself is really well engineered and made. I followed the instructions and installed the TV monitor closest to the coin door initially and then played some games, and came back and moved the the TV stand slightly (about 1/2 - 1") toward the back of the cabinet (slightly closer to the cab speaker) and find this to be the sweet spot for best viewing for me. I am about 6 feet tall, so that is probably where it will stay. The slotted mounting plate makes it very easy to get the optimal position. Really nice addition to the game.
