Exactly what it says. In a number of threads this past week the random boob shot is showing up. I am all for boobies, however, the randomness of them is making it more difficult for a number of members to view the site while at work.

Can we as a community please start to mark threads with NSFW once someone posts graphic material not suitable for a work environment?

    Thoughts?

    Quoted from NimblePin:

Look, I just think this whole "NSFW" moniker is just silly.

It's common courtesy to title or have a mod change the topic with NSFW. Ever been on reddit?

    Quoted from NimblePin:

You should be WORKING when you are at work, plain and simple. If I had somebody surfing the Information Super-Highway on my dime, I'd tell them to clock out and go home.

I agree you should be WORKING, at work, however, on lunch, I am often at my desk.. some people do the same...except they are on facebook, I'd rather catch up on pinball stuff.

I shouldn't have to disable pics to enjoy this site at work, home, on anywhere else without someone saying WTF are you looking at?

I don't need our work filters picking up this site because of pics in random threads, its happened to a car forum I'm on, can't check them at work now.

All I'm asking for is a little common sense, some light moderation if needed, and a little warning prior to seeing some double d's take up my monitors at work.

    Quoted from NimblePin:

No desire to get up and out of the office pauly, especially for lunch???

Yea, I'm a manager, sometimes I can't get away but often I try too. We are crazy busy!

    Quoted from NimblePin:

    I'm an "A-C" cup kinda guy... []

    Me too!

    TL:DR
So again, don't be a moron, learn to internets, tag threads. Think of the children.

    Quoted from PaulyB18:

You should be WORKING when you are at work, plain and simple.

Just something that bothers me about this statement. The NSFW tag does not just imply work... basically any public place, library, school, work, airports, etc.

    Here: http://bit.ly/w7y62t

I have a company owned laptop which can be seized at anytime for information purposes as I deal with a lot of protected data. This laptop not only is used while I travel, at work, at home and is often connected through a monitored VPN or by other secure means. Furthermore, my company phone, again much in the same... always connected, can be taken, backed up or monitored at anytime. Perks of the job, I get to look at the internets. On that note...

I would NEVER intentionally go to any site with obscene or explicit material. So why the hell is a pinball site giving me that feeling lately?

You all want pinball to live on... think of the children, my 12 year old did a report on pinball machines and used the site to pull some screenshots off. Granted I'm sure he wasn't on the forum long, but he went to my profile to get all the titles we had, the year they were made, etc. Next time he is doing a report on hot chicks with boobs I will tell him to check any recent thread on the forum, unless the schools web filter blocks the site first.

I do- and they scare me... []

    They scare me too. Lol

    Quoted from NimblePin:

Daaamn, Tom Cruise... Pull the plug!
That really sucks pauly, I am sorry for your lack of privacy.
I will do my best to keep your Pinside visit "stress-free".
    Maybe... [8)]

It comes with the job, its not like big brother is always watching, but they can. One of my fellow managers had his laptop seized, copied, and told he couldn't use it anymore (of course he got another) and still has it 5 years later in his filing cabinet in case they ask for it again.

Also, I'm not trying to single anyone out, just looking for a little more warning that's all, I do appreciate it!

    Quoted from NimblePin:

Kids shouldn't be surfing forums or the internet for that matter without an adult's supervision, period...
    Just sayin'. []

Yea, I'm sure his teachers were around and he asked me which sites to go for the information. I said IPDB and here, and he chose here. He's old enough to be able to see some of it and has a good internet sense, like TJ said a few posts back, you can pretty much see the same on ABC or CBS.

I'd rather have a site like this be able to be accessible to anyone and not be caught on some stupid web filter or not have some one question what he is looking at if something did pop up.

    NSFW class dismissed!

Now let's go play some pinball...
    Velma! You coming??? []

    Quoted from Jediturtle:

I wandered into a Maxim site (I agree that this stuff hasn't crossed into "porn" levels...but it's heading that direction) instead of a pinball site.

    +1

    Quoted from Jediturtle:

No offense or hard feelings intended anywhere here. I apologize if I came off that way. It's pinball folks...supposed to be fun. So peace, love, and pinball my friends. Have a good night.

    +1

I think we are just looking for some thread moderation, not censorship. Just some type of consistency with the threads, and a friendly warning.

Everybody has missed the point! You all should not be surfing the internet while at work!

Think you may need to re-read the posts. It seems you have missed the point...
