As long as the option to opt out on pics it's all fair game. An NSFW tag is a nice courtesy, but please let's not get the holy-brigade all over the guy that forgets.
I see no reason for me to turn off the ability to see PINBALL pictures on a PINBALL site just so you can post girlie pictures on a PINBALL site. There are about a billion smut sites on the net for that and only a handful of pinball ones. Let's either keep this pinball site free from that stuff, or at least post the proper NSFW warnings. It has nothing to do with being "holy". I'm a strong Christian and have no problem with smut of all forms in the proper place...in fact I downright enjoy it! This is just not the proper place for it (without warnings at least).
Disagree. Pinball does not play nice with censorship and warning labels. Argue that point and see how many followers you'll have.
You have an option to remove what offends you.
I realize there's a fine line between "titty pics" and smut, and I would think the majority will chime in when someone crosses the line, self included. But let's not ruin the party with talk of censorship, warnings, and the resulting battle as to where that very line gets drawn.

Woah...slow down there turbo. I said nothing about censorship. All I am saying is let's keep the family friendly atmosphere here. Boobie pics have their place...just at least label them as such with NSFW or put them in a seperate forum or master thread. Heck...sticky it for all I care (LOL...a "sticky" smut thread...I like that!). That's what I meant by warnings. If this was a porn/"risque" pic site, then obviously there's no need for that warning as you know what you are getting into by being on that site. Here, I am on a pinball site. I'm not expecting to see skin when I open up a thread that isn't labeled as such. If my 4 year old daughter happens to be on my lap at the time, I don't want to be explaining that. I shouldn't have to have that worry on a pinball site.
For those jumping to the conclusion that we are asking to not show pinball artwork, well you guys know better and are just trying to pick a fight. Grow up. You know that's not what we are debating here.

Look, you want to censor the site, that's understood. I'll say it again, I don't want the site to become a smut site. You connect anything titty related to smut. So where so you draw the line? What's acceptable? What's not? There's a 1000+ pins that might offend you. Since this is a PINBALL site and you don't want boobs where do you draw the line? How shall we decide when to put a warning on a thread? There's that thin line I was referring to ... and no one, self included, really wants to waste the time to debate it.

I didn't throw an "insult" until you did. I consider "backpeddling" to be an insult. I say what I mean and mean what I say. At this point it is obvious that you are not reading my messages or taking the time to comprehend what I am saying. You are right though, I shouldn't have gone the insult retalliation route and I apologize.
I never said I want to censor the site. There's a big difference between censorship and simply stating that there is questionable material ahead. No pins offend me. You obviously missed where I very specifically addressed that. There is a big difference between pinball artwork, even at its "raunchiest", and some of the stuff that I'm seeing here lately. I don't see how anyone can dispute that.
I'm done debating this as it's getting neither side anywhere and is only serving to cause bad feelings between those of us that aren't on the same page with it.
I will say this. The Salma pictures that originally were put in posts to lighten the mood...those were cool. Granted I'm sure I didn't see all of them (though I'd love to!), but I don't remember thinking that any of those crossed the line. It's just the last couple weeks or so that it seems to have taken a turn. I'm not singleing anyone out and honestly never paid attention to who is posting what. But I know it's gone from some cute pics to lighten the mood, to feeling like something I shouldn't be seeing on a family friendly forum. I agree with you that it's a line that I don't know how to define. All I know is the "mood" changed recently from a pick-me-up on "heavy" threads, to feeling like I wandered into a Maxim site (I agree that this stuff hasn't crossed into "porn" levels...but it's heading that direction) instead of a pinball site.
