Powered subwoofer on your Stern SPIKE game, anyone?
If so, can I trouble you for a little installation advice?
I got a used Polk PSW10 with a pin and it came with basic wiring harness (four wires bound together in a single sleeve). It has two channels. So, four inputs - positive/negative x 2. I disconnected my game's (IMDN) wiring harness at the cabinet sub' and then connected the powered sub's wiring directly to the game's wiring harness. The leads are yellow/black and yellow/white. I have the polarities matching - negative to negative, positive to positive. I mentioned four wires. I'm "doubling" up, connecting the cab sub's negative to the negative input of each channel, and the positive to the positive input of each channel. No sound. I must have missed something, but what? Am I causing issues by using both channels? The former owner wired it this way on his SAM game, so I assumed I could do the same. I would ask him, but he's very busy and not really available. I also read the owners' manual for this model and got the gist of wiring, but it lacks a troubleshooting section.
Any suggestions you might have would be much appreciated.
