I have had this thing in my closet for about two years now. I believe I need 5V for this. Is there anything in this controller box that would be an easy hook up. I was thinking about the twisted red black wire, but wasn't sure and didn't want to cut into it without knowing. Any help would be appreciated.
Well, I hooked up to the red and black which were 5V and the alien eyes lit up but the green saucer did not. I ended up finding the sellers contact info and dropped him an email. Turns out you need 12V for this mod, so I switched to the yellow and black and I'm good to go.
Now I'm just building a mounting box for it, which I will put some 50's invasion art on, and I think this thing is gonna be really sweet.
