My friend Angel and his wife run a charity called Gamers on the Edge here in florida. Their family gives so much of themselves with gaming as the glue that holds it all together. As a small family based charity Gamers on the Edge has donated almost 20,000.00 to All Children's Hospital. They are also our favorite charity for the pinball and arcade show Free Play Florida where I am one of the show operators.
The way they generate funds is by running gaming tournaments all over the state, every penny goes directly to the hospital including their personal time to set up and maintain gaming equipment in the hospital and a few days before christmas someone broke into their vehicle and stole half of their gear. They buy the gear themselves to support their efforts so they don't have the cash to replace it and could use your help. They aren't a large company with resources, they are just one family working hard to do some good.
Angel and his family are such kind and tirelessly giving people it's painful deep down to see what has happened do them and i'm hoping some of the Pinside community is willing to help them get back what they lost so they can get back to doing what they do.
If you can help in even the smallest way please do.
