Currently, a user can attach JPG, PNG, GIF, and PDF files, to a post - but not BMP files.
The CGC remake machines allow a user to install a custom logo file, but that file must be in a specific size, and bit-depth and be a BMP file.
Many users have trouble creating a file in the correct format.
If Pinside allowed us to post BMP files directly, then useable custom logos could be shared here without trying to explain to someone how to scale and convert image files.
