I love that video, for sure. Assembly though, not sourcing components is the most time consuming thing I think. Wiring/assembly/QA. I love that Dutch is sharing the progress though, I find it incredibly fascinating. Good luck to them.

I wouldn't be. Manufacturing the game without running out of money or patience from the preorders is the biggest roadblock for this. If ZERO code is written and Dutch Pinball went belly up after shipping all games, it wouldn't matter; the games would be out there and the community would find a way to reprogram the games. The DE Star Wars game is a great example of this.
Good software makes a game fun and long-lasting in a collection; but it isn't the roadblock to success for the boutiques. Making and shipping games is.
