All the Dutch pinball updates look really professional and cool.
The problem for me as a customer is that those videos tell me nothing about the status of production. More like advertising pieces to draw more customers inn.
For all that I know, that last video (all though very cool) could have been shot a long time ago, during an early test run or something. Not saying that this is true btw. but it could be.
I would really like an e-mail telling me if there are delays in getting parts. When will the first machines start to come out of the factory, how is the license situation going, how far have they come with the code in a year, etc etc.
The closest thing to an actual update we have seen is a handful of playfields and a mystery box (now what was the point with that one?)
Barry have been kind to answer mails I have sent, but he always tell as little as possible.
The game is still on schedule is the usual answer. This would be more than adequate for me if it was Stern I was sending e-mails to because they have a history, if you know what I mean.
Last month I sent the same e-mail to Andrew Heighway as I did to Barry. I did not ask for specifics to either of them. just asking for a status update.
Andrew gave me a detailed list of what needed to be done, he told me about unfortunate small delays and stuff they would spend some more time on to make sure that the game will be better etc.
Barry told me that they are still on track to deliver the first machine within quarter 3.
I still believe in Dutch Pinball and they did do that customer quarry a while ago when the hords was getting restless, so there is still hope.
Soon only one month left of quarter 3 so I guess we will find out soon enough, anyhow.
Hoping for some good news soon
