Just about to finish up one wall of my game room. These were playfields from an old operator who put them in a outside shed. Most of them sat in water and had to be re-glued to use for this project. I really enjoy the art and hated to waste them.....so they ended up as art on my game room wall.
Still pics show what it looks like during the day.

Link shows what it looks like at night.

That is awesome! I've been collecting a few to do something similar although its seems like old play fields have jumped in price like everything else.

love it, what did you used to make those lights flashing?

I want to do something like that, but my wife has nixed the idea.

All the playfields I was going to use are NOS (had an idea to display some lighted back glasses/translates with them, but that didn't fly either)

That is wicked awesome!!! Wish I had the spare coin to do something like this, It adds quite a bit to a game room.

Just added this to my favorite topics. I may try and do something like this, very cool looking! Sourcing the playfields would certainly take some coin, you were lucky to score them all in one swoop.

Quoted from beatmaster:love it, what did you used to make those lights flashing?

To make the lights flash I mostly used flasher kits, decade counter kits or back and forth flasher kits from some of the surplus electronic companies. (All Electronics, Electronic Goldmine) The Jack in the Box playfield uses a led sequencer that I got from ebay

It would be awesome to have a spare playfield of each machine owned. If you owned enough machines you could fill the wall space.
