It was brought to my attention on another thread about playfield high traffic wear, and we somehow got looped into it. Regardless (drama free zone here at camp Spooky), it did raise some valid points and I don't want to see a non issue become an issue.

We're putting mylar in high impact areas in all games BEFORE we have an issue. We're also going to send out a mylar kit to all existing customers for funzies. Just email if you want one, and we'll send it free of charge. [email protected]

It's a board, it's a steel ball. The board brought a knife to a gunfight. Endless debate solved.

Thanks super cool pinball people!

It will take a couple days to make the kit up and test... Safety first!

I've got tickets for the 21st of March. Not a lot of rides but it is a fun place to visit.

The beer is always cold too!!

Hotel Emery usually has rooms available. You'd have to check with the Chuckster. The Nordman suite is mine, though.

Just thinking out loud...some manufacturers that laid mylar around pops had openings larger than the skirts, leaving an un-protected ring around the skirt.

Maybe put the mylar down before installing the pop assemblies...so you can "underlap" the skirt?

Raised stud nails or whatever the pop mounts are called can nick the ball and cause wrinkles in the mylar. I guess just make sure they're hammered down flush.

For you Chris, anytime! Hell we let Kelly crash at our place... and you're way classier than that guy.

Careful, Chris. I think we're being set up. We'll spend the entire time cutting out mylar kits....which every game should have....installed at the factory....for no additional charge.
