I went thru Vid's 'guide to playfields', but I'm not sure what the correct order of repair is.
    Do I :
    1. sand/ paint/clear coat/sand/clear coat.
    or
    2. sand/clear coat/sand/paint/clear coat
I just have a small area to paint, so I just want to do an quick touchup.
    See pictures below.......IMG_2331.JPGIMG_2331.JPG

I have the same issues. My playfield was cleaned with 'ME' and Novus 2 and I guess it still looks dirty.
My post is in reference to 'Vid's Guide'. If you have another method of touching up playfields
please put them in another thread.
I'm not interested in using cheap paints as noted in the video...... Vid makes that a major point in his Guide. Please post in reference to Vid's Guide.

My major question is : " do I clear coat First or Paint first".
    Thanks

    Quoted from vid1900:

Normally, I clear first to lock down any loose wood fibers and level out any cupped inserts.
    .

    Vid,
Thank you. I thought I read that in your guide, but I wasn't sure.
The guide was quite long with intermittent posts, so it was hard for me to follow.
I remember several guys here saying you should first seal the playfield before doing any
touchup, but I wasn't sure if that was your method noted in your guide .
    thank you
