I just tore mine down to send to John last week. Took me two late night sessions about 4 hrs each.

Funny you mention your last game for a few months, I got halfway into tearing mine apart and realized I didnt play one last game on it. Oh well longing makes the heart grow fonder.

I slid a piece of scrap plywood under the wiring harness once everything was unscrewed from the underside.
I also pry up the staples and leave the GI traces intact to help as a map when its time to reassemble.

I also use a super thin flathead tip to pry one leg of the staple up, and finish the other half with pliers
