Yes, I'm a late newcomer to bingos. I'm picking up a repaired (hopefully) Bally Spot-em. This is the machine from my younger days in Ohio. My question is: is there a specific degree of slope for bingo playfields or was that something left up to the owner/operator? I haven't seen any instructions that might have a number.

Bally provided leveling guidance in their early user manuals. See the instructions on page 84 of the Beach Club manual:

    https://bingo.cdyn.com/machines/bally/beach_club/resources/manual-beach_club.pdf

They advise making the cabinet bottom of the game parallel to the ground (assuming level ground). In other words, the correct slope is already built in to the game playfield.

I am seriously considering adding a slight angle to my
ball board.Since my Bikini is on carpet, I have an occasional
ball that will get hung up on the board.
This should work out OK for my set up.
