    Quoted from pinsanity:

With latching system method for a TZ.
Tools needed: One flat head screwdriver
Leave legs on for support and to keep centre of gravity/weight distribution at waist height.
Raise playfield to vertical. For added safety hook an octopus strap around the playfield/backbox before the next step.
With the flat head screwdriver, unwind the two cabinet locking bolts from the playfield slide assembly and playfield will slide downwards and come to rest on the wooden cabinet supports. If there are no wooden cabinet supports for some reason use a block of wood in lieu by placing it on the floor of the cabinet for support.
The playfield is now freestanding balanced vertically inside the cabinet.
Standing on one side of the cab, grasp one side of the playfield with opposite hands at about the halfway point for balance (left hand grabs right side, right hand grabs left side).
Lift straight up and once playfield is free of cabinet rotate body/playfield in one motion bringing it to rest leaning beside the cab so that the flippers are nearest the floor.

Is IJPA similar to TZ? I'm actually doing a playfield swap and I am moving all upper playfield and most underside mechs over to new playfield before taking it out. Can I take out without undoing those locking bolts by not letting playfield engaging in those bolts?

    Thanks.

    Quoted from pinsanity:

Sure can. I only do this bolt removal method for fully populated playfields (as per the OP) at the upper end of the weight scale such as TZ and by taking the bolts out of the equation you have more room inside the cabinet to lift.
With a playfield that has been lessened in weight by removing parts just pull the playfield forward about halfway to the locking position so that it is sitting free and won't catch on the playfield slide levers.
Stand on one side of the cabinet.
Put one hand on the flipper end of the playfield and the other on the backboard end.
    Lift up and out.

    Thank you!
