    Hello!

I sent you an e-mail over a year ago and never received a response. I have a playfield protector installed on a WOZ. This was done by one of Jersey Jacks Distributors. They did not clean the playfield before installing the protector. I would like to remove it and clean the ball trails off of the playfield and reinstall the protector. I was told by Jersey Jack support, the only way to remove it would be to cut it off. Is this true?

I also have a problem with removing the playfield apron. The protector is to thick and does not allow the playfield apron to slide over it. Because of this I cannot get under the apron to adjust the ball kick out. No body seems to want to support your product! Can you help me?

Crickets once again! I find there is absolutely no support for this product. Nobody responds to any messages, including direct e-mails. Buyer beware!

    Quoted from Orbian:

Not true. You can remove just enough of the topside components to allow you to remove the protector. On most games, this is usually just the plastics, ball gates and maybe some rubbers but I'm not sure about on WOZ specifically.

If you could manage to lift up the lower half of the protector, you should then be able to slide the apron off.

Sorry - we do not check regularly on pinside. Please use [email protected] or send a pm - your email/pm will be answered. Wondering why emails got lost... really sorry that.

Back to the topic... yes the protector can be removed just like it can be installed. On a WOZ it is actually quite some work to do - unfortunately. Other machines require less effort.

If you have a compressor you can lift the protector and blow dirt away... maybe this can help also without removing the complete protector.
