Really tried to find the other thread on these and can't locate it. It has some good info and before and after pics. maybe someone can locate it.

Depends on what you are after. If you are after a clear coat replacement then keep moving along. From the feedback I've heard the majority seem to be happy with them for protecting playfields and making older ones look a bit nicer.

if your going to do all the work to take everything off the playfield. Just get it clearcoated and do it right. Protectors will be great for awhile, but they will play like mylar and eventually dirt will get under them, work their way around and start digging into the playfield. Plus they can't protect the angle edges of things, which is the part that gets the most wear usually.

I suspected that would be the answer as I don't see a bunch of them being advertised. I think I will do it right. I did se somewhere in here a guy that restores playfields. Any direction?

If you find one that is taking on work let me know. All the PF guys are now only doing just clear coat jobs or NOS PF's or are booked a year +. Need a BOP done

i was pretty excited when I first started reading the first 8 or 9 reviews. then I looked down and saw there were 5 pages so I skipped to the end reviews. Not so excited snymore. it was a fuggin rollercoaster of emotions...

I take some stuff that only needs minor work, but won't take on basket case playfields anymore. If I do, it would cost a shitload for me to take it on.

Mostly just NOS, or clearcoating with minor black line edging are the only things I take these days.
