Hey all! I'm coming to a Space Shuttle that needs some love, and I'm wondering what my options are as far as playfield restoration.

Is it just a vinyl overlay at this point?

Just looking for some guidance!

Unless you find someone selling a CPR playfield.

Cool, thanks... Are there recommended places to get those, or is it a "get access to a printer and figure it out" deal... My Google-fu is weak today.

Check with Stu or Ron Kruzman. These are going to be better quality Playfield and cost more because of it if they have any.

If it's an overlay option talk to Jeff at Classic Arcade.

I found Ron, which Stu are we referring to here? Thanks!

I've started the restoration on my old ss playfield. My intention is to use Createx / Waterslides and automotive clear coat.

Awesome! The one I'm looking at is in bad bad shape.

I guess in theory if you clearcoated over a vinyl overlay it shouldn't feel any different from a play perspective, right?

We are working (beta testing as we speak) on a playfield solution for Space Shuttle right now. Stay tuned for a licensed solution that will be great solution for roached SS fields. It will be far superior to an overlay (mylar or decal). We will be posting about it soon.

I did this using Jeff's decal set topped with 2PAC

Flip those post rubbers rightsideup at the shuttle ramp, or it will be airball city.

Looking forward to seeing how this option looks.

I haven't had any issues setup like this in over a year, thanks for the heads up though Vid. I'll take care of them tonight.
