The problem is that none of the lamps under the playfield light up. Or they do, but only for a very short amount of time, before they all go dark again within seconds. What lamps initially light up varies, sometimes close to all of them, but most often none of them do.

Other than the lamps not working, the machine plays fine and there are no error messages.

For reference, the same machine previously saw the error described in the below thread, which "tranformed" into now the lights stopping working.

I'd check board connectors off the power driver board first. The playfield harness may be hanging up and pulled them loose.
