I just received all new inserts for my Gottlieb Surf Champ. I noticed that some of the inserts have either a number or letter molded in the center of the insert.
Has anyone else ever seen this? I'm thinking it will noticeable when the bulb is on and will not look right. Any thoughts or fixes on this or just live with it? Thanks.
P.S. I am not clear coating the playfield but will installing a playfield protector.

I was thinking of doing that and then using Novus to get the scratches out.

I used 400 wet or dry sandpaper and then applied Novus to clean it up, perfect. Thank you.
