Gottlieb, 1963Now that I got the pin working properly and I am replacing bumper skirts, I thought it is a good time to clean the playfield. So, in the pic you can see dirt streaks or dirt after using/trying Naptha, alcohol, ME, Novus #2. I just can get this any cleaner. It's a lot better now than when I started, but is this the best I would get or am I missing another cleaning method.

All those little micro cracks and swirl can't be 100% removed without totally stripping the top coat.
Or as I was told "those cracks go all the way down to the paint"
You can clean it up some. Look at the white paint that was protected underneath the sling shot posts. That is how it looked new. Before it got covered in nicotine. . You will not get it perfect, but you can clean it up and wax it.
To get rid of nicotine yellow, I had good luck this. Zep Industrial Purple.
I used it full strength. Wear a paper mask. Don't breathe it. And wear some rubber gloves. I did not and my hands hurt for 3 weeks after. Do small patches. Don't let it get your play filed wet.
