So unfortunately my location/league lost one of our members this week. Josh was a really nice guy, that loved to play and talk pinball. He watched lots of streams especially Jack Danger and Dead Flip and he was always working on his virtual table build.

Josh battle addiction for many years and found sobriety through pinball which I thought was really cool. Unfortunately unrelated health complications caught up with him this week and he passed away.

To help Josh’s family with the funeral costs we are donating all of the coin drop from our monthly tournament tomorrow as well as having a donation jar. I’m also putting up for auction one of my rare Geiger Space Rider playfields. The playfield is made to go into a Bally Harlem Globetrotters but bottom line is it’s just awesome art work on a wall, or if you want it to go in a machine I also have plastic sets.

I will just run the auction here on pinside through Monday evening, posts your bids here and if you need it shipped we can get that figured out as well. I’ll probably post a few other pinball things I have laying around as I search through my stash. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Thanks for the suggestion I greatly appreciate it but I’m not familiar with how gofund me pages work outside of a general negative connotation/reputation that it seems to have garnered. Also since we aren’t actually family I’m not sure how it would work or if it can be done. I will let his actually family know about that suggestion though.

So far with the playfield at $250 and donations that have been sent in from here as well as from some other local operators we are over $500 and the tournament today should bring in another couple hundred as well. Thank you to everyone.

Hey guys we will run this through about 8PM tomorrow night and then whoever wins can make arrangements to send the money to me and figure out if we need to ship it or pick it up at a show or whatever. Between this playfied, donations from fellow pinheads, and the tournament we ran today we are north of $1000 raised.
