I had the exact opposite reaction. Didn't "get it" at expo and thought it was stupid. Then got one on our showroom and now I REALLY like it.
Yeah, the selfie and emoji modes are silly and I could do without them, but the flow and rules are really great not to mention the artwork and the many uses of the theatre.
Every games isn't for everyone.
