Some of you may or may not have seen my latest creation -- 3D ball guides for CONGO!

So now.. what next?? Well it's kinda up to you guys and gals. Throw me some suggestions -- every idea chosen will get their own set for FREE! All I need to make it happen is a 1 scale scan of a tracing of the shape.

So let's hear thise ideas, Pinsiders!

Nice!

#3 8 years ago

I always wondered why no one had done this yet. How does light to through it? Is the playfield now too dark?

#4 8 years ago

That looks awesome!

#6 8 years ago

Dang. That is awesome.

Thanks gang! Any ideas on what game I should do next?

#8 8 years ago

I saw the early version sans leaves, this is a huge improvement, very nice.

Maybe a matched set of slings and inlanes for BSD? Could make them out of 3D stone.

IJ!

That is so cool! Only thing is that the ball might get stuck on the sculpted areas. Otherwise, it looks awesome. Future game suggestions are endless:

T2
TAF
TZ
JM
ACDC
TRON
FH

etc etc etc....

You just found a new niche, and I think you'll be very busy. Job well done!

Flash for sure.

It's almost like Constantino tried to draw the most ugly broads in the world.

There are 20,000 Flash machines in need

Teenage mutant ninja turtles pronto no one does anything for that game

#14 8 years ago

Wow that looks great on congo. Fishtales or Whitewater would look pretty cool.

#15 8 years ago

Here's another space invaders would be sick

#16 8 years ago

On Terminator 2, you could use this method to make a "3D" plastic below the slings that emulated the piston valve and hose wrapped around it. Paint would be blue/black/silver as shown on the plastic itself, but the 3D effect would be an awesome addition.

Jared! Cool idea for Stern, no? *nudge nudge* *wink wink*

Mousin' Around could be great !

Anything is better than gears and gears and gears and gears..........

#31 8 years ago

Love these ideas, gang! To get your free set, i just need those 1 scans to roll in so I can get started

#32 8 years ago

I'm gonna vote for Baywatch.....the waves on the slings and plastic guides are begging to be in 3D. Plus the theme and artwork is corny enough to go right along with this idea. This idea is cool beans

#33 8 years ago

Now this is way cool. You could be busy for YEARS with all the different games out there. I'd like something for Batman Forever.

zaccaria's Locomotion has all 3D plastics... http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=3217

#35 8 years ago

Goldeneye would be awesome the lane plastics have artwork on them already but they would pop in 3D!

Let's hope the plastic isn't as cheap on these

Looks like the Rob Zombie game....

Hey all

I've had a lot of generous offers from people willing to send me their plastics. While that's cery generous, it's also totally not necessary. If you have an idea or plastic you think would look great in 3D but don't have a scanner, simply take the plastic out of the game and trace the outline (and hole marks) on a piece of paper and mail it to me. I can easily work with that, that's what Mike and I did for the latest Congo plastics and they fit great.

Hey gang!

Just an update for purchasers (the ad is expired and I can't update it as it's not my ad)

Attached is a pic of a huge lot ready to ship this weekend, so if you don't have yours yet.. well, it's in there

I also have extras made up for any other interested buyers. Super easy install on these -- simply peal and stick.

Second, someone asked if I
I could make them without the bones -- the answer is YES!

And third, I have a finished set here thaty 3 yr old son decided to snap in half.

I've epoxied it back together and you'd never notice it, but I can't sell it at full pop obviously - so if anyone wants this set, it's yours for $50 usd shipped (regularly $85)

Thanks gang!

Oh! And I'm ready to start my next design, so.. first person to send me a tracing of their plastics gets a free set

#48 8 years ago

These are really cool but I don't have any games that would use any of these kind of plastics.

If you pick games that are more commonplace, and I'm sure interest would climb up a bit
