I just swapped them out for new lock nuts on my Comet with washers also on most. If i could washers on both sides of the plastic if it would fit.
Probably not the most favorable option but i just don't like the look of them.
I was thinking about getting Colored Acorns or the colored ionized colored lock nuts just for a little color.
