    Planetary Pinball (PPS) announced that, until further notice, they have stopped accepting orders from their resellers. According to the announcement they gave to us on October 8, they stopped accepting new orders beginning in mid September.

    Here is the text of the announcement:

    "Orders from resellers have been on hold since the middle of Sept. When they come back off hold (we will inform you of this), we will begin to accept orders placed using our pricing spreadsheet."

    As Pinball Inc is one of the largest suppliers of PPS parts we feel that our customers should be aware why some items may be out of stock for an extended time.

    As someone who is well stocked up on parts for future projects (my games and others) this still makes me nervous.

    Why? What's the reason? That statement really didn't explain anything.

    Continuing trend of eliminating middlemen realizing profits from one-source Suppliers?

    That is all the information we received in the announcement. We put in two large orders and after 17 days of waiting that's the response we received. Perhaps other resellers have additional information.

    No real drama, we just want our customers to understand why some items may be out of stock for an extended time.

    We just shipped a Large Container Order recently they are changing business model for Overseas Distributors with online portal rather than manual order Systems like a log in system with a discount code for Distributors would be my guess, also prices have not increased for 10 years from the price list i handed them when we supplied Distributors. Not stopping people buying Directly from PPS at normal price until they update the Distributor Process.

    No need to panic buy!
