Looking to shop one of my games and just moved to Pittsburgh. I see a repair guy via google and another place called Pinball Perfection although I called them when I first got here and they were not friendly - to put it lightly. If anyone else has a suggestion (or correct me on Pinball Perfection), lmk.

Ideally, would like them to come to my house.

    Thanks

Not knowing where in the Pittsburgh area you are I will forward this recommendation.
The guy's name is Andy Bressler and he lives in Latrobe. He has done work for me a couple times and is a nice guy. I had his business card with his phone number but I misplaced it. But I had luck communicating with him by email too. He came to my house, picked up the game, took it to his place, promptly repaired it, was reasonable and fair with the pricing, returned to game to my house, and it has worked perfectly ever since. I have had a couple guys from Pittsburgh come out to look at my games. They tweaked a few things, reseated a few connectors, got lucky and the game appeared to work, charged a lot, and two days later I had the same problems.

I have not talked to Andy in over a year so I am not sure what his status is, but if you want to send him an email here it is:

    [email protected]

Feel free to tell him I recommended him if you decide to check him out.

    Regards,

What machine are you working on and what parts are you looking for?
In addition to the links above I get rubber sets from Titan pinball l(https://www.titanpinball.com/) . You can get colored rubber rings from them if you want to go that way.

Be very very VERY leery of the "repair and shop job" guys around here. Most of them couldn't tell a transistor from a titty and they all want 50 an hour.

I fixed a couple of games out of pity for a guy. The "repair" guy had told him his sys 9 mpu and bally SBD were dead and could be replaced for 100 bucks off of ebay and tried to run off with them (probably to sell them for 100 bucks on ebay).

The sys 9 board just had a bad transistor for the ball eject, the bally solenoid driver had nothing wrong... reseated the connector.
