Is the steel tour worth it?

Andy Warhol Museum is close to Heinz museu, plus it’s also close to the Strip District with lots of great eats. Good walking/strolling area.

You gonna need more than one day to see all the good stuff in Pittsburgh...lol

Helicon has all the latest pins and craft beer.

Strip District for either breakfast at Pamela’s or lunch at Primanti Brothers.
And if you want an awesome beer and pinball, drive to Helicon Brewery in Oakdale. About 25 min from downtown. Was just there yesterday with the fam and some neighbors. Our favorite place to tailgate with friends.

I did the iron city brewery tour many years ago not sure if that's still going anymore FREE samples back then anyways

I hate to be redundant but you need to visit the strip district and get a pepperoni roll from Jimmy and Nino - so good. Helicon for sure as well.

If you are looking for good pizza, just keep on driving through as it’s bad here. Maybe b/c I’m used to really good pizza in NY but wow, not good. Overall very good food (italian for sure) but pizza and bagels are terrible.

What kind of food do you like and what do you want to do while you are here? Play pinball or visit places like museums. That will help narrow it down since you are only here one day. Also, which direction are you coming from and what time are you arriving/leaving. If you are coming on a weekend then I would stay away from somewhere like the strip district since it gets very crowded.

Lawrenceville is a great walking neighborhood with lots of good food, plus Kickback Pinball Cafe. www.kickbackpgh.com

Penn Brewery is great. The gulasch suppe is killer good and the beer is pretty damn good as well.

Helicon is great! Condado tacos is good also, if you go to the one in Lawrenceville, you can hit up Kickback cafe and play some pins.
Also the Church brew works in Lawrenceville has good beer and food also. Penn Brewery is one of my favorites also! PNC park is one of the top
ball parks in the country, but the Pirates have a lot of ups and downs. If you want to go out of the city Pinball Pa in Hopewell has a lot of games.

    Thanks for all the input.
Our time in Pittsburgh was very limited, passing through on return trip from South Dakota.
Checkout Heinz museum and City Works enjoyed Dragons Milk 11% on tap with chorizo Mac & cheese.

Definitely will need to return to Pittsburgh.
