So a few weeks ago I was perusing all the surrounding area Craigslist ads and saw this one:

You'll notice the error code on the backbox in the first pic and the guy had the following in his text:
"Note: The machine comes on, lights up, makes sound but the balls don't release. The complication must have come as result of the move. Not sure"
...and I thought, I've got a Space Shuttle and I've seen that error before after changing the batteries. I'll drop the guy a note and ask if he knows if his batteries are dead or gone, since he said recently moved it which would imply he had unplugged it.
He got back to me and was happy to get some help. Asked if I would be willing to come take a look at it, he would pay. I said sorry, I am in Cleveland but let me write you up how to check and replace the batteries then reset the max credits to 00 which should allow free play and let you start a game if that is all that's wrong.
He got back to me about a week later and said it didn't work for him and asked if I could reach out to anyone local (he is not on pinside).
So I thought I would post a plea for help on his behalf. If anyone in the Pittsburgh area is interested in trying to help I have his e-mail and phone number. He seemed to be willing to pay if someone wanted to come out in person and check it out as well. Seemed like a nice guy who was very appreciative.
