    Quoted from Ruggie26:

Any suggestions? Only happens on fastball.

If I remember correctly there's a Pitch Relay, but if it only happens on
fast pitch, I'm thinking it's not a magnetized plate on that relay..
Maybe at times the motor is over riding its run-out switch. Perhaps
if you can gap the run-out switch (that rides on the score motor's cam) a
little bit more, that may help. Also, the motor's armature draws in when
energized, and springs back out when not energized, right? If so, if you
spray a little shot of lubricant on the Pitch motor's small tail shaft (the very
rear side of the armature) that may help it to spring out a little quicker which
would help stop the motor's rotating momentum after the run-out switch
    has opened..

Quoted from pinballdaveh:What it comes down to is the pitch relay opening the make/break switch that powers the pitch motor fast enough to avoid a 2nd pitch.

Yes, and also, if you slowly manually turn the score motor, you'll see a set of switches (I think make/break)
and once they touch, it energizes the Score Motor. I have Williams Baseballs, but can't remember exactly
which switch off the Score Motor's cam but it most likely is one of the switch stacks' top switch. It'll make
(touch) its mating switch very shortly after you start manually rotating the Pitch Motor.
If there's enough allowance, you might want to separate those set of switches a little bit, but of course
not too much so they don't touch as soon as they're suppose to (which is very shortly after the Score Motor
    begins to turn)..

The older motors had an armature that would disengage. I didn't realize these
motors had clutches. Good point right here..
