Hey guys,
A friend sent me these 2 pics wanting to know why the auto fire mech is popped out on a machine she just picked up, preventing the ball from being plunged. Anyone know how to remedy this type of thing? Thanks!

Is anything else on that same column or row having issues? That could mean a bad transistor. If that is with the power off, it could be binding and may need a new coil sleeve.

It is with the power off.

Does it move freely by hand?

It's either binding or someone has installed the newer style (wrong) auto plunger. She needs to remove the glass and raise the playfield up on the rails to get a good look. With the power off, those two forks should push back under the apron. Probably a broken or binding return spring.

Thanks for your help, guys. Turns out the whole coil assembly fell off and was sitting on the bottom of the machine. Easy fix!
