I recently came across this 'mod' in my Spirit of 76

The blue and green goto the start relay, yellow and red goto the "2 coin unit". Red also goes to the 'same player shoots again lamp.

Grey is between kickout switch and credit coil.

Some original wires are cut and connected together and taped, player unit circuit has had wires removed and this circuit has been connected into it.

Best I can figure, it's some sort of replay to add-a-ball conversion.

I live in NY and I got the machine in NY, other than that, I don't know it's history. NY was an add-a-ball state, so it seems likely it would have to be converted if it was routed in NY.

It also has a small hole in the apron near the instruction card that has a CREDIT LAMP typed on a label I think the yellow wire goes there.

Should I just leave it? or try to put everything back the way it should be?
