She's a beaut. Thanks for moving it into the Freeplay Area after the Vendor Hall closed down last year too.

Quoted from dannunz:Anyone have any suggestions to make the VIP lounge more cool? Please keep the ideas PG-13 lol
Besides all the sweet games you are bringing, what do you already have going on in there?
Quoted from dannunz:We are going to have 2 big couches in the back. I think we will have a DVD player and one big speaker pointing at the couches running pinball movies.
I am also working on a massage girl who wants to set up in their doing massages. I'm having a little trouble finding anyone but I have a few good leads this week.
You could add some side challenges to the games in the free play room that run for a day or the whole weekend. Maybe you pay $1 to enter a challenge and it's winner take all, or donate a portion of the pot to charity. For LOTR, it could be the person that posts the quickest destroy the ring time (which the game tracks for you). Pay your dollar to enter, when/if you destroy the ring at some point over the weekend, post your time. You can post another time if you put up a second dollar. It would be mostly honor system, but the VIPs I'm sure are all men and women of honor, and the pots would be small potatoes anyway. TZ could be most hitchhikers (or something more creative and interesting), BSD could be having a ball last for more than 15 seconds...
Depending on space available, you could set up a card table where people can play poker (or dealer's choice of the game). If something like hold 'em is going on where it is a small buy in (e.g. $5) and people can come and go as they please, it can be a nice, casual way to shoot the breeze and get to know people.
Quoted from Vector:Hi All,
Ardvark Pinball Repair will be setting up on Thursday, so as to be available for repairs if needed. Rates apply; this is for repairs that can't be done in the free play area by the volunteer crew. We'll have a small space in the corner if you need to bring the game to us. Board repairs are offered on most major brands except Gottlieb.
Last year we installed NVRAM on several boards. This year we'll have the same deal as before. $15 for the device, installed free on boards with a socket, or $20 (for a total of $35) if we have to install a socket. All boards will be tested on our test fixtures before and after NVRAM install. Get those batteries off the board and out of the machine with NVRAM, and never worry about corrosion again! Most WPC and system 11 games do not have a socket. Stern Whitestar games DO have a socket, as do classic Bally / Stern.
We are pleased to announce that we will have a Multimorphic P3 at our booth this year. They can't attend Pintastic since they are busy building games, so if you want to play Lexy Lightspeed, find us in our usual corner! Although they were next to us last year, so the game will be pretty much in the same spot.
Our Defender pinball machine (based on the video game) will return with custom led work, Titan rubber, and a freshly-restored backglass thanks to BGResto. Come by and play a few games!
Thanks for reading.

Allan has already put NVRAM in a couple of my games and I'm definitely bringing a System 11 board to get that NVRAM'ed. It's really nice to not have to even think about batteries. Thanks Allan!
Quoted from dannunz:ON SITE PINBALL FINANCING AT PINTASTIC 2017
I encourage everyone to take advantage of Webster First financing to buy your beloved games this year at Pintastic. They are offering low personal loan financing so you can buy any pin you want at the show up to your credit limit. Just make sure you bring a pay stub and live or have a friend who lives in the New England area. Please support them they are a major sponsor of the show! Thank you Gabe
I sold a game last year and the person used Webster First. It was all very easy and wouldn't hesitate to have them part of a transaction again.
Great work Gabe and crew! Another cool show this year and another great chance to try out a bunch of games that don't make it into the wild very often. Also, thank you for bringing so many games from your personal collection. Your BSD is a blast (and the one in the free play area is pretty sweet too).
