    Quoted from mattmarr:

I sold a game last year and the person used Webster First. It was all very easy and wouldn't hesitate to have them part of a transaction again.

I bought the game, and it was super easy on my end too! Not only that, but they deposited $5 into my account so I got back a little money after all was said and done! Was a great solution since I hadn't planned on buying anything, so I didn't have enough cash with me!

    Quoted from dannunz:

You can get a line of credit from Webster First bank that will be on site doing the financing. Since its a line of credit you can buy both new and used games up to your approved limit. Very easy form to fill out just bring a pay stub with you.

My wife is assistant vice president of Clinton Savings Bank. She has a couple of friends that work at Webster Frist Bank. One of her friends was working at the show last year and suggested we come check it out. We purchased a Mrs Pac man arcade and enjoyed the free play area.

Have the times for the seminars been finalized yet? Someone I know wants to see the Todd Tuckey seminar but I haven't been able to give him a date/time.

    Thanks,

My 9-year daughter was practicing on Sky Jump last night getting ready for the kids tournament at Pintastic, lol. My 11-year old son on the other hand would rather watch YouTube videos of other people playing video games. Strange days indeed.

    #710 6 years ago

Have the tournament banks for Pintastic been announced yet?

Thanks! So excited for the show!

    #711 6 years ago
    Quoted from dmarston:

    15:00 Zombie Yeti
    (Title pending)

Zombie Yeti's topic is "Fail Better Every Time" -- you'll have to attend the seminar to get the full context. He is one of the new-to-pinball artists providing new ideas, new vitality, and new influences from pop culture. He's a "digital native" who has great respect for industry veterans like Greg Freres and the accrued wisdom of pinball art. His enthusiasm for working in pinball will be evident in his seminar!

We battle the same issue at our house. Our daughter wants to Post YouTube videos all day and play mine craft.

Who is ready to see David Thiel? This guy is awesome don't miss his seminar! He did a cool teaser video for all of his New England fans. https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=IR5qMKB60N4

    #714 6 years ago

Because I'll be working in the vendor hall, I won't get a chance to see many seminars. However, the seminar I'm excited for is Todd Tuckey. I've laughed like crazy at some of his videos. Such a dry sense of humor. It will be fun to meet him.

    Gabe,
Outstanding work on the posters. Should definitely make things easier for people this year.

Joel Guzman did all the design work for this years show. I can not take any of the credit for them. We are lucky to have someone with his talents on the team.

Thanks - Gabe alerted me to this and we fixed it up along with some other errors. Signage and direction were things that I set out to improve this year when I joined the team. The show should hopefully look a lot nicer this year and important areas should be easier to find.

Thinking of making the trek up to play in the tournament and maybe hit up a seminar. Any word on how far out the tournament bank is typically announced? My wife is trying to get me out of the house for some peace and quiet haha

Good god, now I don't have to limit myself to EMs that fit in my car. My wife will be thrilled, lol. Seriously, that is amazing. Thank you.

May be looking to play some poker while down in Sturbridge. Any suggestions on casinos nearby that have decent poker rooms? Thanks.

+1 to Foxwoods and Mohegan, they are right down on 395. (CT version of 290) Foxwoods is more established, but Mogehan is easier to get in and out of with less traffic lights and crazy in-town lefts and rights...... I like the food at Foxwoods better. I live in this state but I still use GPS for Foxwoods because going through Norwich is pretty F'ed up.
