Early plans involve bringing a Bobby Orr for freeplay, with hopefully a few more to follow depending on what I can get done in time.

    #38 4 years ago

Also thinking of bringing a few Ted Zale games....Cosmint, Joust and if I can get it done...Dixieland. Probably not for sale on those games. Hunting for decent backglasses on Cosmint/Cosmos and Joust if anyone has one they'd like to sell.

    #45 4 years ago

You picked the right one....of the three that's the one that is already working . Hopefully Joust won't be far behind.

    Quoted from albummydavis:

Now I’m psyched. Never played a cosmos. Love that era of Bally’s.

    #47 4 years ago

Aha! I was wondering whose game that was.....that Joust inspired me to hunt for some Ted Zale games. Hopefully I'll be able to fix it's Gremlins prior to the show. Dixieland needs a good amount of cabinet work before I can even troubleshoot it so it is probably a long shot to come.

    Quoted from chas10e:

I brought my #joust-bally Last year, a very well received and enjoyable game. I'd look forward to seeing #cosmint & #dixieland as I hadn't played either of those titles yet.
I might beable to come up with another Ted Zale game but I have to check with its owner first

Based upon a very recent conversation with a few people...I'm starting to appreciate the quirkiness of the Gottlieb System 80b games.....as some of you know I've been trying to move a Silverball Mania project....anyone have a desire to trade an 80b game for it? (Yes, even the "bad" ones)

    #62 4 years ago

Had a chance to play a very nice playing Bad Girls at Allentown....loved the shots. I had an Arena in the past.... definitely had some fun rules too.

    Quoted from yfz450:

Welcome aboard. In my opinion there are no bad system 80b games. I like them all.

Definitely open to trade ideas here as well....it will be posted that way at the show if not traded before then.

Heck...willing to entertain a trade package on Bobby Orr (working fine, small half moon crack in backglass) a Silverball Mania project and a Pac Man cabaret arcade. If interested, send me offers. If it is a working game in return I'll bring it to the show for freeplay.

    Yes....yes you have

    Quoted from Matesamo:

Depends on what you are looking for; Friday will have the best selection if you are looking for something specific but prices will mainly be firm. Late Saturday/Early Sunday is when sellers really start marking down machines so they do not have to break them down and transport them home. I have bought a machine late Saturday night every year for a very nice price.

    Aww man!

    Quoted from Crispin:

It is with heavy heart that I am putting up my LE Pintastic pass for sale. I am so bummed that I am unable to attend this year because I have 2 selfish family members that are graduating from high school and college and are having their parties the same weekend. The site says LE passes are sold out so here is you're chance to enjoy all that Pintastic has to offer.

    #290 4 years ago

Doors 2,3 and 4 are sold.

Starting to get some flea market materials ready....I'll probably put together a Google Site with pics of everything as I round things up.

First item....populated Lucky Ace playfield. $150 obo.

Random request for anyone coming to the show....I need to find a lockdown bar to fit a fireball home. Anyone have one they would part with?

I'll be out in the flea market area with Tom...stop on by if you do.

    #447 4 years ago

    PM sent

    Quoted from Gotpins:

I have a players condition Bally Black Jack I can bring to Pintastic if anyone is interested in it. It's clean and working, has new bulbs, clear silicon rubbers. Nice cabinet and perfect backglass. Playfield has some wear but would make a good touch up project. I'm asking $500 or trades for projects or anything pinball related.

    #491 4 years ago

And so it begins....pretty much the entire contents of our NEPL site (Walrus Arcade in Ware, MA) in the house! (Excuse the crappy pic....it was late)

Also.....since I saw Tom post his flea market list....I'm packing mine up this morning....I'll try to post a list before leaving today. Definitely some playfields, backglasses, arcade bezels, aracde and pinball pcbs and other game room items.

Going to have a System 9 and a Bally transformer (with as 2518-54 rectifier attached) in the flea market....if anyone is searching.

But when you bring a game that has a push button wired in parallel (Bobby Orr), and purposely make a custom pricing card with explicit instructions to simply push the button if it is out of credits (in bright yellow mind you - cause well, there needed to be some black and gold on the game for obvious reasons) - and people simply don't read it....well....

Several times I came around to find my game turned off and it turns out it was for that very reason. I'd turn it back on, load the game up with 30 credits and walk away.

It was however mildly amusing to open the coin door when it sold and find $1.50 in quarters in the cabinet though :>

Yes...I know I could have done a few other things....but honestly it worked just fine for me at home for months and I made this foolish assumption people could read...

    (

Quoted from dmarston:Our repair ticket system handled 327 tickets, of which 52 (16%) were No Credits. For next year, I'd like to get that quantity down to 1% of all tickets. With proper preparation before the show, pretty much any game can be free to play. Even the Genco Big Town was working on free play, and it uses a push chute! If nothing else, the game-bringer can install a well-insulated push button in parallel with the coin switch.
    .................David Marston
